Since all things AI are being discussed in publishing (rather, the world), I feel the need to be explicitly clear on my own stance: I do not use generative AI, will never use gen AI, and have not used AI in any of my books, my brainstorming, my outlining, or my editing. I believe that AI use in publishing or creative endeavors is to the detriment of art, in general.

For what it’s worth, I’m excited to step forward into this new landscape and support other authors and publishers who feel similarly.
