Yes indeed, I placed 4th. Out of 250 + entries for WOW! Women on Writing’s Fall 2015 Flash Fiction contest!!!
I’m beyond elated and excited to share the news that I’ve been sitting on and biting my nails about since I got the initial email that I made the Top 45 and then the Top 10 while driving up the coast, moving to Oregon. Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for more encouraging news or results to get me settled into the Portland writer’s community with an extra bounce in my step.
For anyone that’s struggling to finish their manuscript or the umpteenth revision of said manuscript, relax! Take a load off. Maybe try your hand at writing a fraction of that tome by exploring flash fiction.
