It finally happened.
Just when I was about to take the most perfect Instagram worthy photo capturing my writerly impulses (working, on my balcony, Moscato to my right) my laptop died. The blue screen of death appeared and took with it…well not much actually because I’m Type A/C and I back up all my work religiously, but it took my hope for another year!
To be honest, my laptop was 4.5 years old. Instead of mourning, I’ll probably pat us both on the back that we made it this far.
Well done, old friend! Thanks for the good times, plane rides, coffee stops, and early Saturday mornings. We saw all of France together and a myriad of long drives. While I’ll never fully replace you, I will aim for a larger hard drive this next go-round.
Respect! Love! Adieu!
